That wasn't sudden or accidental = absolutely no insurance coverage at all UNLESS you can prove it is due to a hailstorm within the previous 365 days.

Otherwise, you'll have to submit a warranty claim with the roof's manufacturer and/or the contractor. Good luck with that!

There was a hailstorm in BR on Dec 23. My roof was replaced last week from hail damage.

I live in vicinity of LSU; I don't know if there was any hail in central during this storm.

Call Ryson roofing to come out and have a look to see if there is damage. When they try to strong arm you to sign a contract on the spot tell them to GFY and then call other roofers that are more willing to work with you on the replacement.

R & R roofing. Call Jason. They changed almost every roof in my neighborhood in the last couple of months including mine. They do all of the work. They meet with the insurance adjuster and everything. I was in the same situation and I feel like I came out pretty good on my deal. If you call I'll give you my name and you can mention it to him. Very easy to work with.

DEAR OP,

Don't do anything and just pray for a storm to come soon.

You're welcome.

Why not just call the other roofers from the start?
