Wish people would drive the speed limit instead of 5 and 10 mph under it. Some of us have work to do and a purpose in life, places to get to and things that need done instead of following you.

1. Because many people lack the IQ to process the fact that the slower you all are driving, the less space you need to allow for the car in front of you in order to have plenty of time to stop if they stop.
If you're only going 3 mph you only need a few feet distance (and by "a few" I mean maybe 10-15 feet.)
2. Many people also not only don't pay enough attention while driving, but they are also unwilling to pay enough attention while driving to do what you want them to do.
3. Finally, many people just don't have any urgency.

That's because you're being just as obtuse when you assume that that sort of public transportation is feasible to implement in the majority of locales and would be efficient enough to build quickly.
Nobody wants to see improvement in 20 years when they get a system built (that would almost certainly then be immediately inadequate to service the growth that took place while it was being built.) They want improvement now.

The worst is when a whole light cycle is missed bc people traveling the opposite way stopped blocking traffic….infuriating
Potentially more dangerous is the people who stop in the right hand lane of the interstate where people doing 70 to merge into an exit lane stopped(like that happens on I-10 at the HWY 73 exit every damn day)
