Things to do in BR

I'm in town with my kids, and will be downtown to see the USS Kidd. What else is there to do/see around town? It's been 15 years since I lived here.

the same amount of things there were to do 15yrs ago...
there is a art/science museum right by the USS kid has a kids area...isnt great but it's something. saturday is the st. pattys day parade

The state museum is great to do with kids all ages(my 7-14 yrs olds enjoyed it). Old/New state Capitol. Then Area 51 for fun stuff and have some Red Zeppelin pizza.

Definitely take them to the top of the state capital. Go to LSU and cartwheel down the Indian mounds. Go to LASM/USS Kidd.
