They have already pre sold 9,500 plates of Jambalaya.

Totaling roughly around $66,500 in proceeds going to the Fallen Officers Funds. This of course isn't including the stuff they will be auctioning off. Don't forget to goto the restaurants supporting the officers on the 25th as well!

They should have way more money than that. I know several people in my office that ordered 1 plate of Jambalaya and gave a $100 bill for it.
I'm sure we aren't the only ones giving more.

That dollar amount is based on 9500 plates @ $7 per plate... I'm sure that's not the actual amount.

I was basing that off what was sold per $7 plate, I don't know the exact dollar amount...everyone simmer down. This is all going towards a great cause.

So they not taking EBT cards is what it sounds like to me. If they hold another one at the beginning of next month then the boycott could be lifted.

Because of the response they are asking for anyone who can come and help serve plates Monday morning and they are expected to begin at about 8:00AM. There is also a need for EZUps type tents and tables to shade and create and assembly line. Please anyone on the list to let them know and any help is appreciated.
