I know it's being held at United Retails on Choctaw, I'm assuming they called them to place orders. I'm not completely sure of the process

can come and help serve plates Monday morning and they are expected to begin at about 8:00AM. There is also a need for EZUps type tents and tables to shade and create and assembly line. Please anyone on the list to let them know and any help is appreciated.

Wow, do they have enough cooks? Are they getting all of the food donated?

Are they equipped to cook 9500 plates? Im affiliated with the Jambalaya Association and people are willing to help cook, just not sure how to go about helping. My family also ownes the big kettle the World Record Jambalaya is cooked in at the Jambalaya Festival. The pot cannot be ready by monday, but can be ready for future dates if need be.

It feeds about 3500 people.

Just call any of the organizers (see the flier in the sticky for phone #s) if you need a quantity. Otherwise just show up and grab a couple plates and raffle tickets.

How are they going to be able to pass out that kind of volume in 4 hours? It's gonna be a shite show.
