You think a company doesn't have costs and overhead?

You've obviously never run a business.

You get what you pay for with Tickpick. Awful site with really bad reviews from customers.

lol, yeah the site looks horrible, but its hardly got a bad rap.

729 reviews on reseller.com and the majority are 5 out of 5 is their score. Also, the 1 out of 5, was from some dumb bimbo, who got her tickets, but wanted to sell them, and it was too late. Hardly tickpicks fault shes dumb.

Well they seem to go up when you buy a more expensive ticket

yeah, same tickets sell for $200 each and their "costs" go up $100... kiss my arse, i hate these ticket sites. I ain't saying the OP's $6 deal is a bad transaction but these fees are fricking insane.

Call the event ticket sales personnel directly and get the tickets that way.

That doesn't necessarily work. I have walked to the box office only to still get hit with "convenience" fees (for whom was my walk to their location convenient?).

My favorite is a delivery charge to email me a pdf copy.

LOL at all these people bitching. Do you think these companies are charities providing free ticket selling services out of the kindness of their heart?

Just looked at Ticketmaster for a Saints ticket.

For a 300 level standard ticket the service fee is $12.50. If you are buying tickets that people are reselling, the fees go up.

Speaking on just ticketmaster, the local ticket offices arent making jack off of the tickets with the fees. Less than a dollar from your $200 ticket goes to the owner of the outlet. All gets thrown back to corporate

I agree that the fees are crazy. It's a percentage based model with a minimum. My point is that the OP is silly to complain about the minimum fees. It's the fees on the higher priced tickets that are crazy.

I used seatgeek instead of stubhub. Not sure of surcharge % but it seemed less with seatgeek.

Every site I've seen has fees. Stubhub transferred a lot of seller fees to the buyer which I like. I sell a lot more than I buy.
