Was this a shite fest or what?

This was Macho Man's debut and they almost fricking buried him. Well I guess, he made the final but in a bitch arse way.

Also, I had no fricking clue Adrian Adonis was in his early thirties at this event. He looked like a tub of lard. He may have fricked Liberace at WM1. Sorry he's dead not soon later but frick.

Anyway this was a total shite show.

Props to Gorilla Monsoon and Gene Okerlund, real pros on the mic. Way more than Vince.

Davey Boy Smith should have had a great match with Ricky who had just been dubbed the "Dragon" but he crotched himself on the rope and got disqualified for doing a move HBK mastered.

Jimmy Hart has always been a fig.

Moondog Spot. Lol. IRL dude died in the ring of a Jerry Lawler birthday party.

Anyway here's some pics for my rant.

That's not from the event but roughly same time.

I'd like to imagine that Lord Alfred Hayes smashed Susan Waitkis after the show.

It's almost sad that I understood all that jiberish but loved me some 80's wrestling. Just seeing Elizabeth in that pic brought back dem memories.

Back in those days, you had to get the cheap heat on a guy to establish them as a top heel.

A guy like Savage was so charismatic that he'd have tons of fans if you didn't make him a "cheater". I believe he was brought in to challenge Hogan as a top heel but he was so good on the mic and in the ring that Hogan squashed that angle and bumped Savage to the IC title program.
