Derrick Todd Lee was far worse than Lee Harvey Oswald.

See, to me this is proof of not only the prejudice of American history, but also the pervasive nature of a repeated "fact".

How many people will tell you that Ol' Benny was the most heinous traitor in American History but not know a damn thing about what occurred or the reasons or the players involved?

If you had been constantly passed up for promotion by less qualified people due to politics and untrue allegations, were infuriated with the way foreign and domestic policy was being handled, and on top of that had congress demanding you pay them because of paperwork that was lost during a retreat, you might not be so warm to a very new "America" (which was fiercely divided and hardly "united" at this point.) either.

It just does..

For Pennsylvania, Sandusky was obviously a rotten piece of shite, but Charles Carl Roberts IV was the guy that killed the 5 Amish girls.

Soapy Smith.... Harmless con man, actually from Denver.

I'd go with Robert Hansen. Movie released last year about him called "The Frozen Ground."

quote:

Hansen stalked and murdered between 17 and 21 young women, kidnapping them and taking them out to the Alaskan wilderness where he shot and buried them

Guy would kidnap women, put them in his airplane, take them to remote locations and hunt them like game.

Ohio had a lot to choose from. I think Jeffery Dahmer was more evil than Manson.

Manson's craziness can be traced back to the system. Dahmer was pure evil.

Yeah, I'd say I can name several people from Jersey who are much, much worse than him. He wasn't even all that bad of a guy.

Dahmer killed way more people than Ed Gein did, and was somehow from a decent family, which really makes him that much more monstrous.
