re: The UVA Rape Case - Was the Report an Exaggeration? (Update 12-5-14)

To everyone who was skeptical, thank you. To those that were not, I think we can all take a lesson in due process - and waiting for the facts to come in.

Now to repair the damage.

This is a scary situation for a young man. I know as it happened to me. I worked at a restaurant with a girl in Athens who was always flirting with all the guys. But nobody ever took her bait and actually had sex with her. She had a pretty nice figure but she was called "Skrat" for a reason. Her face looked like a muskrat. One night, we were all at a bar in downtown Athens and I was just drunk and horny enough to say "why not?" After she pulled me by my hand into the bathroom. She immediately got on her knees and started blowing me. I did not fight. Shortly thereafter, we all went back to my loft above a bar in downtown. Of course, she came as well and by 3 am it had emptied out to myself, my 2 roommates and her. We ended up having sex and fell asleep. She seemed a little upset the next morning after I balked at taking her to The Grill for breakfast. But nothing I did not think she would get over. A week passed at work with her constantly acting like we were dating and just a general uneasiness. She actually followed me in the walk in cooler to confront me and I just explained that I still wanted to be friends but the one night was just that.....one night. She said I would be sorry. Well, the next day, our female manager who was a good friend of mine alarmed me when she said that Skrat was claiming I raped her and was going to the police that day. I freaked out. "What!.....I did not rape her! You were there! Everybody was there and saw how that went down." Fortunately, this friend understood exactly what was going on and said she would talk some sense into her. She later told me that she just laid it out to Skrat that everyone saw her pull me in that bathroom and slobbering all over me at my loft before they left. I dodged a bullet but for a few hours I was truly flipping out.

TL/DR. Was falsely accused by a emotionally unstable co-worker and dodged the bullet when another co-worker intervened and talked sense to her.
