She's not in completely terrible shape, Jake.

i didn't say she was. she's put herself in some extremist crosshairs with this move.

She probably works pretty hard to maintain her shape and for a lot of reasons that's as good as she can probably achieve.

i seriously doubt that's the best she can achieve, esp as a model (where part of her job is working out)

but that's all besides the point. her message is terrible

SJWs can't have it both ways, where female aesthetics are a symbol of the patriarchy and that we have to celebrate the aesthetics of overweight women, especially with the obesity epidemic and the objective evidence of how terrible the health concerns are

She's over 30% body fat, probably closer to 40%

She is good in my book, and in the book of many others on the OT. Thread fails.

She is gorgeous. IWHI all day everyday.

The days of everyone's fascination with 0-4 size girls are over. Give me 14+

You're pretty far off here, SFP

There's no way she could ever achieve the typical "model" figure.

But it would be very easy for her to reach manatee status.

possibly, but that's besides the point

many girls who are in great shape don't have model figures or bodies. that's why every pretty girl can't be a model

she can get in a lot better shape, though

but yeah, her motivational message is a bit...off

Her message is don't like your size make you think you can't do something that "skinny" girls usually only do. She's on the cover of SI, that kinda proves that message.

What am I missing?

Did I miss something in the pic in your OP?

When was her message in your pic ever about being in the best possible shape you can be in?

Her message is quite literally exactly the opposite, it seems.

She wasn't successful before that?

if she could do anything she puts her mind to, she'd be in better shape

This logic makes no sense, and again is the opposite of her message. SHe's doing exactly what she put her mind to, succeeding as a curvy model. Has she ever said this is the best possible shape she could possibly be in? If not, your point is invalid.

her implicit message involved commentary on this issue

if making the cover of SI without being in shape wasn't a big deal, then this particular model doing so wouldn't be a big deal

since it is, it is
