You must not know many of them.

I can see both sides. On one hand: it's your right to "protest". On the other hand: you're at work and being paid to do a job, so maybe protest on your own time.

I think most people, myself included, can't understand what the protest is for. So it's easy to bash the method of protest when the reason for the protest is nonsense.

Pick up a weapon, and run forward when everything in your body is telling you to run backward. When your friend you've been with for 2 years since boot camp/ops training falls right next to you bleeding and begging to save him when you know you can't thousands of miles from home. All the while someone at home won't even give you respect enough to stand for a flag you protect daily. These same people making millions and millions a year and kneel because their people are "oppressed" give me a fricking break. They make millions because someone fought to protect that right to...because racism known in our past is gone as we know it, and because this is the land of the free and everyone has equal opportunity to succeed if they work hard enough. All paid for in blood from Valley Forge, to Gettysburg to Normandy to Afghanistan. The irony of them kneeling is mind boggling. The mere fact of their success is proof positive of our growth of equality.

I worked on a military base for 12 years and have several family members that are serving or have served.

I know more than my fair share.

If they really want to protest, they shouldn't take any money that features a portrait of any slave owner or anyone who has made racist remarks.

You're correct Ed I've seen them played at soccer games on TV if I recall of other countries. Maybe wrong though.

I’m so F*$&@ sick of all politicians and politics in general.
I don’t want politics in my sports! I watch sports to get away from the incessant political bullshite we are being exposed to.

If the "majority" of people feel it's ok, then the backlash wouldn't be so large.

Agree. Players should either stand respectfully during the Anthem or stay in the locker room. No need to make a political statement.
