I don't watch sports for politics. If they want to protest or join a cause or be the voice of an injustice, great. Just don't do it in that forum. That's not the right place or time.

Disrespecting the heroes who fought and died for their freedom in Civil War, the 41 million heroes that were either injured or killed in WW1, the heroes that fought, froze and died at the Bulge, yeah that's really productive. Yeah, it's really bringing light to the problems facing the black community. Which, by the way, definitely is not police brutality. Get the frick outta here with that bullshite

It gets the cameras pointed on them though.

With their helmets off. That's gold in football.

Unless you're Ricky Williams.

Because people just loved to be pissed off over shite.

I'm not offended. It's disrespectful, but I see a lot of other disrespectful things every day that doesn't offend me neither. I'm not offended by confederate statues. I'm not offended by said confederate statues being torn down.

I'm not a snowflake. I don't get my feelings hurt by something I can't control. I would prefer they do the right thing and respect the flag and anthem. I would prefer they leave the statues alone. But my day goes on. I pay for my entertainment. The NFL and their players are my entertainment. Dance for me puppets, dance!

Statues of traitors who took up arms & fought against that same flag?( Killing hundreds of thousands).

But peaceful kneeling? Oh the horror.

Unfortunately, our taxes pay for the national anthem to be played before these events.

You must not of lost a dear one to war, or served your country. You would recognize the horror.

You said that I didn’t know many active duty or retired military, when in fact I worked directly and indirectly with literally thousands of them on top of having several in my family. Pre deployment, post deployment, stateside, and overseas.

Then you proceeded to call me, those men and women, and my family members pussies behind the anonymity of a username on a message board.

You are an argument that is pointless and not worth my time at the moment.

If you have or are serving, thank you for you service and fighting for the right for people to peacefully protest for their rights to equality.
