Yeah we've discussed that before. I don't care if an individual burns off excess production via mining, but at utility scale I really hope the economics favors storing it for later.

You know, I have no clue. The economics on that deal were mind bending. I can get around the variability of the gen units (wind in the case). There's good enough TMY modeling to get me comfortable with that. And the power rate changes are pretty well known and while they change, I can understand it. But then you throw Crypto price uncertainty into the mix and it's just a mess.
