I know what you're going to say, every school in NOLA is crap. but I mean there has to be at least one good school district in the entire Nola area. I'm talking about a K-12 system, not just one particular school. What about the Lakeview area?

The Catholic School District.

quote:Hynes is good I think, but it isnt automatic enrollment by living in Lakeview. It is a charter school which means you have to test in. I dont think there is any true public school in NOLA that is worth a shite
What about the Lakeview area?

I thought that was the only guarantee...assuming you aren't handicapped.

I'm aware of that, because NO has no school districts in general. So I answered the question as best as possible.

I thought that was the only guarantee.

Lakeview has no public High Schools.

They had a district area but they may have gotten rid of it recently. I know it was up for debate about a year ago or so, so I'm assuming it happened because it sounded like that it was going to happen.
I then moved away so I don't have to worry about this problem.

To put it in perspective, NOLA has as many good public schools as they do streets.

Ah gotcha. Don't really follow the social welfare trends of the rich so I am out of the loop.

Yeah, even Lusher is a little sketch for High School. Catholic or Private if you can go that route.

St. Tammany Parish (minus some Slidell schools), St. Charles Parish, Belle Chasse, and the magnets in Nola/JP are all good.

Are you seriously considering NOLA public?
