Well duh, you're a Chalmatian. Ya'll just got the 90's over there I kid. I'm from the AP and we're pretty backwards here too.

I want to say only like 20-30 of my high school class went to college
I'm sure in other parts of the state it was much, much higher

The average couple does not need a prenup
I disagree. Divorce rates are at 50%ish right now, so I think a prenup should be the new standard. It only makes sense.
ALso, good thread. There is certainly a few things i need to do..and not do..

Only spends on what each has before they get married

The key to success is to do what I did: be born into a family that is well-off enough to never do without, use this family's economic success to go to school without taking on loans, sleepwalk through a high demand major because of the exceptional intelligence you were born with, graduate into a job pulling down twice the amount your peers are because you're such an exceptional human being.
Pretty easy, really.

How is a list of 20+ things a "silver bullet"? The OP was not insinuating that there is a guaranteed path to success, but I guarantee you that if you follow the rules he posted, you increase your likelihood of success multiple times over.
That's what being successful is about, giving yourself the best possible chance to succeed.

except divorce rates are no longer at 50%.
