She acted like she wasn't into it, but I could tell by the butt clench that she had been hoping that would happen for some time.
But the point of the story was I'm no longer invited to thanksgiving for the foreseeable future. I also don't get bombarded with pictures of nephews that I don't give a shite about. Win win.

my MIL normally hosts the whole wife side of the family(its huge) but they sold their house and are building their retirement home on the lake and it wont be ready till april
