We aren't even 30 years into all of these things. Society and humans have to adapt. Those that were behind will fall further behind

They are adapting, they now Google to find the answer instead of trying to figure it out themselves

You aren’t referring to teachers, you’re referring to leaches. Every job field has those type of people who only show up and do the bare minimum. For some reason teachers and nurses are the only ones who get the majority of flack here.

it's because theyre both very public fields. if you're in one of those professions doing the bare minimum you'll be noticed much faster/easier than someone working in an office.

Because everyone knows at least one person in these professions who does nothing but complain about their job.

I hate to pile on because honestly I appreciate the work of good teachers and I do think they are underpaid. That being said one of my best buds is teacher and a coach and he has more free time than anyone I know. He gets most of his work done before he leaves campus. Maybe you have more responsibilities IDK but I never hear him complain and in fact one of the reasons he stays teaching despite the pay is the amount of free time he has to pursue other interests and hobbies.
i know in my district if you take work home you

A) are horrible at taking advantage of the time given to you during the day

B) are horrible at planning/reusing previous lessons

I always hear teachers in my building gripe about their workload at home and it makes me laugh. Theres absolutely 0 reason to put in a ton of extra hours if youre good at managing your time. every once in a blue moon ill have something to knock out at home but it is extremely rare.

This is the sentiment from all of the teachers I know. It's not easy while you're there but is a true leave work ay work job.

A coach makes 2500 dollars more a year than the teacher who gets to school at the bell and leaves at the bell. That by itself isnt right. Coaches do not get those 3 months or weekends off and leave no earlier than 5 pm on a good day.

Coaches: Underpaid
GOOD teachers: Underpaid

That's rich ... you sit on your arse for a year, get the entire summer off every year and bitch about tax payers giving you a raise. Did you not know what that job paid before you chose the profession ?

It’s because they are both very public with their attention whoring. Name two other professions that cry for attention more than teachers/nurses.
