If you do fish.. make sure you tie on a white zara spook for the early morning/late evening topwater bite. You never know. That water is so clear those fish can see it from a long ways out.

Badger...If you like breakfast, make sure to hit up Mud Street cafe in Eureka one morning. It's an underground type cafe that's pretty damn good. I've only had their breakfast, so I can't speak for lunch.

Not sure what all y'all are wanting to do...but also in Eureka they have a pretty sweet large cat rescue facility. You can get face to face with lions, tigers, Jaguars, mountain lions, etc.

If you like the area after the trip, I would suggest maybe checking out Holiday Island for another year. It's just outside Eureka and there are a couple golf courses, lake, and plenty of cabin and condo rentals.

Eureka is a cool town. Has some super haunted shite there. You can take ghost tours and piss yourself if you want. Personally, I don't like pissing myself so I steer clear.

Also a warning...if you guys decide to bar hop in Eureka...those patches on the bikers are legit...don't frick with them. About seven years ago, they had a pretty big Bandidos and Hells Angels brawl at one of the biker bars. Stabbing and shite...just keep that in mind if you guys get intoxicated.

There used to be a smoking hot blonde that worked there!

Pretty sure it's not like it used to be. A lot of clearcutting in the area.

Definitely check out Hawksbill crag if you have time for hiking. Just google the pictures. It is amazing. Kings falls is pretty cool too. But hawksbill is my favorite. Twin falls is also close to the hawksbill crag area.

It's not a lake. It's more like a tunnel.

Lost Bridge has the clearest water around. It's a little ways out from town, but it's worth it.

Our cabin is lakefront on that side of the lake.

So I'm intrigued by the idea of a float or canoe trip. This kings falls place is probably close to a two hour drive from our cabin on the northwest side of Beaver Lake, which isn't impossible, but wondering if there is anything like that a little close to Beaver Lake and Eureka.

ETA: Looks like Riverview Resort and Country Store does canoe trips and isn't too far from our place. Will search the Googles.

Trip coming up this weekend. We got three day licenses, and I just bought a couple zara spooks (racist), some spoons, and a bass/walleye lure. We'll see if that works. Might also throw in some live bait. I'm assuming it's ok to eat anything we pull out of there?

Of course, it's a great and clean lake.
