This woman and her supporters will tell us that people like you need to take the bus because of global warming but the mayor HAD to go to France to sign a completely meaningless document that has absolutely no impact on the city she governs.

She was there for 3 days. How did she spend $23,000 outside of flight and lodging?

Is this Brewsters millions?

I know you guys think all nola citizens vote the same, but she is extremely unpopular here right now even amongst her actual base.

The media has not gone after her like they are currently and the news about her showing up to juvenile court has tilted a lot of people.

White folk did that shite. There's a new mayor in town. This had to be done to reflect that.

That's standard protocol for government and corporate employees to use a 3rd party to book their travel.

How much did you guys expect it to cost? That's not that much IMO for a big city Mayor to go on a trip.

Is it a LOT of money? yeah.

Its not A LOT of money for a politician to travel internationally on a "business" trip. I'm not excusing her, I'm saying anyone that knew she went on that trip should have known it wasn't cheap.

This was a different sister city. On the French Riviera if I recall.

Not to be confused with the sister city she went to in Switzerland on Lake Como within a month of that trip.

That flight cost the city $17,854.

But, to be fair, that flight did include bottle service:
