Jesus. If there ever was a red flag moment to GTFO of NOLA this is it.

Whoever missed this in the hiring process is gonna be in BIG trouble.

A brief look at her background shows she went to Seattle University Law School, which features the Korematsu Center for Law and Equality, dedicated to "training the next generation of lawyers who will champion efforts to achieve social justice." LINK

Our institutions of higher education are severely infected and diseased.

Im sure this hire will work out well for city of New Orleans and its constituents. Sad sad times.

As an inner city cop with two decades on the job, there are few things more insulting and uninspiring than having to answer to bureaucratic outside appointed law enforcement administrators.

Inner city policing is a tough job that takes years to fully understand all of the factors that contribute to rising crime. More importantly, it requires support from leadership to be able to effectively do the work that is necessary in order to curb violence and maintain law and order.

Bringing in an outside candidate with minimal front line experience is a recipe to create a chilling effect. Simply put, cops know they get paid the same if they show up and do the minimum.

Choosing a leader that is respected and proven matters. No one cares how inclusive or morally righteous the Mayor’s selection is when they have to live in constant fear of violence.

Could it get worse?

Heard from yet another friend that wants to leave NOLA recently. Hits just keep coming.

Wrong Kirkpatrick

Not saying I did a 3 way with Jeane and Maggie (Dennis was a cuck) but not saying I did not either.

Agreed.

Does the NOPD currently possess one of those?

If she was unanimously voted to be fired in Oakland for breaking the officers trust, that means she did a couple things

1: she went after officers for minor and frivolous things and punished them harshly for her findings

2: she took the sides of any and all citizen complaints and situations over backing her officers and harshly punished the officers for not hugging people when force is actually needed
