Saturday morning was spent eating things like Captain Crunch and watching cartoons. You watched them on Saturday morning because that was the only time of the week there were cartoon on TV. There was plenty of time after they went off (which was like 11 AM or so anyway) to spend the rest of your Saturday outside.

Yep. Me and my brother were up at 6am sharp, cereal bowls ready to go.

My favorite was Super Friends. And not a cartoon but I also loved Wide World of Sports(can't remember if it was in the morning or early afternoon).
