Reaction of tourists on Canal is mixed. Lots videoing, some chanting along with the protesters. One shouted 'blue lives matter'

I wonder how many shootings, stabbings, rapes, and armed robberies have taken place in New Orleans today while large numbers of the NOPD are dealing with this stupid protest instead of patrolling neighborhoods.

NOPD in full force with SWAT on building. Statue intact.
Just closed the Square. NOPD has other more pressing issues to handle I'm sure.

People simply cannot look at things from a historical perspective. Yeah he wasn't a great guy when viewed through current day lenses, and yeah he did some bad things. He also did some great things which is why that statue was erected, back in 1856, BEFORE the Civil War. shite, Jackson died in 1845. Reading tweets, they think he was a Civil War General. Let that sink in for a minute. The fricking idiots think it's a statue of Stonewall.

So how long do they let these dumb fricks act like fools? Do they wait it out until they get hungry? It can't see NOPD letting this go on once the sun goes down.

Then they wonder why Latinos always side with white folks.
We don't side with anyone. Us and asians are too busy working to get caught up in this kind of shite. The media and "leaders" just lump us in with whomever their "enemy" is to better serve their purposes. We are white when it's something that puts nonblacks in a negative light like someone shooting a black person, and we are the bad minority when it's crime and illegals.
Screw that noise. I'm heading to Home Depot to hire a couple of my people to build me a new flower bed and garden for the backyard.

fricking this. His war was the War of 1812. And the man was the POTUS. That should not be forgotten. You are talking about pulling down a Presidents monument.
