He supposedly held a gun to his head and then pointed the gun at the PoPo. That's hear say from a post on Cajun Scanner. In the same post someone else said they seen the subject smoking out of a glass pipe while running from police.

Not running from and not point guns at police greatly reduce your chances of getting shot by said police.

His name was John Paul. My sister n law knew him well. He was in trouble with the law on and off for many years.

Cops around here have been busy. That's two people they've had to shoot lately. The heat is getting to these folks around here.
