Must be nice to have rain. It has not rained at my house for 3 weeks.

I really need to get out of here. I applied for a job in Jordan, Utah the other day. I hope I get it. Boy, would my wife be surprised. .....

I just got back from a week in Maine. I strongly recommend the place for any Southerner with a bad case of the August Heat Stroke Blues. Now I don't feel so bad being back in the broiler of a Florida summer.

When it was 20 degrees for 3-4 straight days last February, I made a vow that I wouldn't bitch about hot weather.

That said, August is the worst month of the year.

Really cold weather doesn't bother me. I can always put more clothes on. Besides, I have badass coats to wear over my suits.

Now, try walking downtown from your car to the offices in 104 degree weather in a suit. I feel like a homeless person by the time I get to the door.

At least I am consistent. I love summer and hate winter. You'll never hear me bitch about high temperatures, ever.

Yesterday, I was putting big ice cubes in my beer.

Gotta stay hydrated.

I will say, 20 in the gulf south is a HELLUVA LOT colder than 0 in the rockies. Bring on the snow though.

Truth. I did a solo walking tour of downtown Denver in 18 degrees and a foot of snow on the ground. Was comfortable in tracksuit with a hoodie over it.

frick the Gulf Coast Summers. I'll never accept it nor acclimate to it.

Bring on General Winter.

I'm not gonna freeze to death. I can always put more clothes on.

There's a damn good chance of someone dying of heat stroke every day out here.
