Not a terrible/dumb move if the dealer is showing 6 or less
If dealer shows a 6, then I am going to double down on pretty much anything. 6 or less, though? Surely you didn't mean that.

More often than not, someone hitting when they shouldn't burns the entire table more than it helps us.
The most common is third base hitting, getting a 10, then the dealer doesn't bust. I've sat out on hands when people like that come to the table. They usually lose pretty quickly, then everyone goes back to enjoying the game.
This is all a myth. In the long run, the strategy of other players doesn't help or hurt your chances.

Poor 3rd base. 1st base can play assbackwards w/o much criticism, but don't screw it up at 3rd! I enjoy sitting in that spot.
I can't play at a full table anymore, especially low limit tables. Basic strategy is a foreign concept to many.

i saw a guy call an allin for about 275 (1-3 NL game so that's a ton) on the flop with Q high (after the allin guy raised huge preflop)

Why not?
Are you under the impression the guys playing like idiots are hurting your chances of winning?

It's more enjoyable for me to play at a table with people who has some idea what they are doing. Those who don't slows down the game, sweating over every hit, not knowing when to split or double down, etc.
I'd rather not be frustrated while playing, so I'll look for another table.

Agreed.

Yep.
At a table with random players I jist want consistency from everyone.

I am assuming you are talking about NLHE and folding a pair of deuces before a flop when there is a lot of action isn't stupid at all

I once folded quad 10's in a No Limit Hold Em game at Harrahs in New Orleans. to my credit, it was my 2nd time playing in a live game

It's "bad etiquette". It's "your money and you can play how you want to" but don't get upset when you play like an idiot and get called out on it.
If the dealers showing a six and you're at a full table, don't split tens. It's stupid. It's not a play to "win" it's a "ooo, fun I get to split cards" play.
Now, if you want to make plays that are "not by the card" like standing on 14 when the dealer shows a ten, ok that is a strategy that some
Folks employ (never take a chance at busting). That "playing your hand" rather than being an idiot
Who says I played like an idiot? Never even said what I hit on.
Besides, if you're not even playing then why the frick are you even saying anything to begin with?

As they shouldn't get upset when I tell them to mind their fricking business

People that bitch at the way other people play their cards are fricking retarded.

Amen. Don't blame me for your bad luck or shitty play

It simply doesn't matter in a game like black jack. For all practical purposes, the guy hitting on a 14 when the dealer is showing a 6 isn't helping or hurting the table. It may piss you off and anecdotal evidence makes you think he's hurting your chances, but the math says otherwise.

My 2nd or 3rd hand, I posted the big blind even though it was about 3 seats away from me. If that's not bad enough, I didn't even understand at first when the dealer was trying to give me my chips back. shite was overwhelming
