Probably because most cannabis users are homeless who are skinny and walk everywhere to get where they need to go.

I feel you

I'm just talking about this whole legalization deal over the last several years in a whole. On a macro level. I feel it has never been completely honest with themselves as a movement or to the genral public as a whole. The whole trying to get a foot in the door screaming medicinal uses when the long play out the gate was just to get high. I feel you get way further if you are straight forward with your intentions out the gate. Maybe that's just me. I've also witnessed this personally on a micro level as well.

good points

I'd add that when you aren't employable, you probably don't have money to eat much.

Completely anecdotal, but I definitely ate less at night when I smoked. Was much easier to fall asleep on an empty stomach or with a light snack.

Now if I don't eat a substantial meal after dark I will lay awake for hours unless I take melatonin, something cannabis encourages the body to produce.

I'm a smoker and pro-legalization and I've never been comfortable with that approach, though it's obviously been effective. I think the pro-freedom argument has the legs to stand on its own without being disingenuous.

How about just being able to do what you want in your free time? It's really sad I can get drunk as I want but can't legally enjoy a jay on the porch.

The fact that meth and coke got brought up in this thread is almost equally as sad. That's the kind of thinking and association that's prevented the forward progress of peoples freedom to use it but also the medical and material uses of it.

The propaganda has even spread to sentencing reform. If you listened to some of these people you'd swear Angola is filled with people there for simple possession.

I would also like to see the age on those that consume versus those that do not.

They probably just used people from Colorado. And almost everyone is much skinnier than the South. You rarely see an enormous blobs in a rascal scooter at grocery stores.

Ever seen a meth addict?

Meth addicts are healthier than non-meth addicts! Just look at their BMI!

..and don't get me started on coke/crack heads. Those motherfrickers are ready for a fitness show!

It's because marijuana junkies spend all their money feeding their addiction and not much on food

Methheads and heroin addicts are the same way

Yes you do. They just don't like you enough to invite you. Atleast half the people you know use pot.
