Got picked up by a woman, nice looking, long dark brown hair, nicely dressed who was driving a 2015 Mercedes 450SL. Turns out she is a pilot for Delta and this is what she does to meet people outside of work instead of other pilots, who she said, "most are just dicks about having a woman in the cockpit and she'd rather not hang around with them."

Tired of listening to her bitch about having to make sandwiches, I assume.

Got picked up for a ride from sfo back to my house. Car was a 300, driver had fake electric fireplace in the middle dashboard and Christmas lights on the inside of his car. He also had homemade clouds hanging from his rear view mirror. He said the the clouds would thunder and rain, then he set the music to a thunderstorm and used the windshield washer fluid to simulate rain. He was a really cool guy and was a former limo driver, said that the passengers liked all the weird shite in his car. He also had an iPad with streaming TV turned towards the back seat for passengers to watch.

We had four ride in San Fran and I rode up front with the driver. To this day I have no idea if they were a man or woman. Very high voice and feminine features to some extent, but very flat chested and other manly features. Nice person from France trying to make it as an artist.

I had an SEC referee as a driver once. It took about 10 minutes into a 15 minute trip before he told me. We got to where we were going and we were still discussing the flags he threw against teams, coaches that were great or d-bags, etc. My wife got out and said make the block a few times if you need to...I seriously thought about it. He had some good perspective.
Also, later that night, our Uber driver had someone on speaker phone for the whole trip, muted. She was a youngish and a new driver, so I think she was just looking for some measure of safety.
Another guy total sucked at driving. He would nearly come to a complete stop for every car coming in the opposite direction on a two-lane road. Brake from 45 mph to 5 mph. His GPS said "in 1/2 mile take a left on..." so the 10 streets on our left in the next 1/2 mile, he tried to turn on. I had to say no 10 times and kept pointing to the turn. He also drove in my f-ing grass! a-hole.

My girlfriend and I got an Uber from our hotel in NOLA to head to a new restaurant we planned to try. It was his first day driving Uber. You could tell he was a cab driver, very aggressive driving. Well he cut off a state trooper and promptly got pulled over right in front of H&M by Jackson Brewery. We just set inside the van, that he borrowed from a friend, and waited for the Trooper to finish writing the ticket. The driver ended the fare and we hoped out. Hailed a cab and went on our way. I emailed Uber and they completely refunded my money. It was a really weird experience but it was cool to know that Uber would work with you when you are not satisfied.

In Baton Rouge I had a deaf Uber driver.
This wouldn't have been a problem but she had a passenger. She was driving a tiny Nissan hatchback and we had 4 people. I figured the passenger was her helper so I didn't say anything. Turns out the passenger was also deaf.
On the ride she took a turn too narrow and bottomed out the car, and turned into oncoming traffic on River Rd.
I got out 5 blocks before my destination and walked because I did not want to die.
Uber refunded me the next day.

Uber driver picked us up from a Jim Gaffigan show a month ago to drive us back to our hotel in downtown Dallas. Told us that we might have a little trouble getting to our hotel because there was a shooting while we were in the show. We decided to give it a shot because downtown is a fairly large area and maybe it was in a different part of downtown than our hotel - it wasn't. Approaching downtown, we encountered a wall of cop cars and had to divert to find another route. Ended up basically circling our hotel trying to get close enough to hop out and get to our hotel. Got into our hotel room and turned on the TV to find out the shooting happened 3 blocks away and they were still searching for the shooter. Uber driver was a great guy.

Earlier this summer i requested uber to come pick up me and 3 of my girlfriends. App showed an asian girl in a chevy HHR was coming to pick us up. We were standing outside when this dirty chevy pulled up, i walk up to the car and i can clearly see it's not an asian girl and she has a passenger with her. Open the back door and another passenger is passed out in the seat taking up the back left and middle of the seat. The car is filthy. Me and the girls looked at each other a little concerned. I decided to say " looks like you are full. We will just catch the next ride." She said "a'ight" and i shut the door and she took off. Very strange. My hopeful guess is that the actual driver loaned her car to a friend and her friend decided to ride around with her buddies and do drugs while trying to pick up uber rides. My worst case scenario is they kidnapped the driver and had been using her car for weeks to try to make money on uber rides. Every single alarm in my brain was shouting "do not get in that car."
