OJ Simpson, Shaq, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, all treated better than Tony Romo. Do I need to go on? Stephen A. Smith is a retarded, racist arse little dweeb.

If you think Stephen A is a racist, you need to take a long look in the mirror. Not sure if you listen to him, but Stephen A will call you out no matter what race you are.

NOLA still loves them some Archie and the saints had losing seasons for 90% of the time he was there. I know it's not necessarily the same level of love Romo is getting, bUT still. I realize Archie is white, but the article states that Romo shouldn't get anything due to lack of playoff success. It just doesn't matter. The city likes him, and that is that.

Even Stephen A should understand that society idolizes good looking athletes that bang a list of Hollywood's finest women. Joe Namath is a pretty good comparison (except he actually won a superbowl). He has career 220 INT's and only 173 TD's and a losing record as an NFL QB.

Isn't Shaq black?

Because he could do whatever, whenever in Louisiana, L.A. and about a dozen other places.

Now, Romo ain't Shaq, but this is Dallas we're talking about here - not most/all of the country.

i listened to a bit of stephen a battle it out with will cain the writer on his show around noon yesterday. Stephen A looked like an a-hole cause he kept revolving what his issue was. Oh, he's not good enough, he's not black enough, oh he didn't win enough, but then it was the type of celebration etc... it didn't stop everytime stephen A was blasted on the stance he took, stance changed.

its quite simple - racists.... see racism.... in everything.

Its childish so lets keep it on their level.

Racism these days is like --- The one who smelt it, dealt it.

the co-host of ESPN's First Take saw a racial discrepancy.

Smith said on his show that he has never seen a black athlete treated in such a way

Yes. Blacks are now treated unfairly in sports.

You know, if sports didn't exist...some people probably wouldn't either.

Doesn't Romo pretend to be Hispanic?

If so, race card revoked.

At one point early in the argument, ESPN's Max Kellerman chimed in and pointed out that not only has he never seen a black athlete treated like Romo — he has never seen an athlete of any race treated like Romo, considering his lack of playoff success.
