Stanford swimmer who raped unconsciousness woman gets shorter sentence

Liberal Judges are the suck
They make judgements w/o a clue of who the actual person is or what they are about.
They make Excuses for criminals and give shorter sentences.
These idiots are the reason gun felons are back on the streets within months, and back again, using a weapon.

Damn.
Stupid shite like this is what has caused the irrational "guilty until proven innocent" approach to rape that's happening on college campuses.
Someone actually commits RAPE.........like REAL no bull shite, no girl had second thoughts the next day.........no, "oh, I wasn't SURE"............but REAL fricking rape.
And the judge goes, "well, we don't want to hurt him too bad?"

And, I'm gonna go out on a limb here for that idiot judge.
A dude who would frick an unconscious chick behind a dumpster didn't just suddenly discover a complete disregard for consent or for women in general.............so, the whole "lack of criminal history" line raises my eyebrows a bit.

The fact that he's a soulless ginger on the Stanford swim team and probably not engaging in thuggish activities is why I wouldn't consider him a thug. Now if he's holding guns sideways on Facebook and talking about doing drivebys then I would say he's a thug.

Have you read any other articles on this case? They were both drunk, he claims it was consensual, she doesn't remember it. There is more to the story, he wasn't just some completely sober guy that found a passed out drunk girl and decided to have sex with her, like that article is implying.

In the grand scheme, if my son is ever busted raping some unconscious girl, that fricker isn't coming in my house again and when he asks why, I will tell him that I didn't raise him to be a THUG!

That's the thing.
Right now, the system generally IS fricked up against guys.
Some judge pulling this shite is a double whammy. First off, it lets a rapist walk which is bull shite.........because contrary to popular belief, just because people like me hate what's happening on campuses does NOT mean we condone rape. frick rapists.
But, on top of the walk............the judge is just going to make the whole "hang him at the first accusation" culture worse.

Nah I disagree, but I know there are some horrifying examples that get trotted out as if they're the status quo. The innocent until proven guilty thing IS a major issue, don't get me wrong, but there are a ton of hypocritical people on this board that call every accuser a slut who is making it up and shite. The thread is still young, but check the responses in that bartender rape thread over the next day or so and see how bad it can be.
