I find the dismissive and joke posts perplexing. Maybe I could understand if this happened in some far flung location, but this happened in a college town in Louisiana.

I was there with my daughter this weekend at a tailgate in that area.
She is a kinesiology major.
I was just thinking about my son how he would have responded had he been around when something like this happens.

Gotta say, I'm a little unhappy with the Tech response to this. Wife and kids are at Phillips. Temp lockdown would have been appreciated.
