I had an older friend who passed away who use to donate land to the Livingston Parish School board. The board has land all over the parish. I was amazed how much land gets donated to school boards in this state that will never be used for schools.

If they want to work with or sell land to the Catholic Church for a school they probably could make a deal.

A small but competitive Catholic school would do well there.

I can definitely see how a larger school would be a potential threat for the public school system though.
