Spinoff: Do you think TGBFTL Flag Girls dislike the Golden Girls?

Not sure, but I know cbs loves the Alabama flag/baton girls. They show them on tv more than they do the cheerleaders and band. Anyone know the reason behind this?

If I recall, regardless of skill not just anyone can be a golden girl. To be chosen, one must fall within a set range of physical characteristics. This allows for a uniform appearance.

I'm sorry you weren't able to make the correlation. Typically when the term spinoff is used in a thread title it means there is another similar thread, but just going in a different direction.

I remember many of the GG's were friends with the flag girls. Not besties, but I don't think they all hated each other. Most of the GG's were friendly/sweet, at least when I was there.

With an organization as big as Tiger Band, you are likely to have people you dislike, or don't even really know.
That said, there was no general dislike of the Golden Girls by the flag girls when I was in band. Some would laugh at the stereotypes, but nothing too harsh. The Golden Girls were generally nice to people who were nice to them. Funny how that works out.
And my flag girl wife is not a dog. Sorry, no pics.
