We're talking about the GOAT 80's GI Joe. Not the Ken doll in an army costume.

I was always partial to the hovercraft.

For reference. I'd go with snake eyes and then beachhead for the Joe's. Would have to think about cobra.

Probably impossible to answer because there’s so many. I stopped collecting in 1984 and every year after that was more and crazier ones.

I didn’t look any further than 1988 but this thing seems like a contender, Rolling Thunder

I had an ungodly amount of GI Joe toys growing up and had this one. Definitely top 5

Probably my two favorites were the Terror Drome and the General (1990)

All I know is I asked Santa for the GOAT 80s kid toy, the aircraft carrier, and never got it

I believe it was $150-200 in the 80s.

Rich buddy had it and it was like going to Disneyland

Rumor has it Hasbro released all of the G.I. Joe cartoons to YouTube. I haven't verified, but read about it.

$110. I was lucky because my parents were divorced so my dad would always send the most outlandish over-the-top toys he could find just to annoy my mom.

My mom still tells me about how I went on and on, all day, telling my stepdad how awesome my dad is while he spent his Saturday assembling a 7 foot long aircraft carrier for someone else's kid.

The problem was you had to have a fricking room dedicated to the thing.

Yeah. I mentioned in the other thread that we had to put it on the front porch which attracted every kid in a 5 mile radius to my house.

Wild Bill and the Helicopter was GOAT

I had a huge collection that my little brother eventually got his hands on and destroyed the lot
