Is the Haneda airport in Tokyo the nice one? I flew into Narita 8 years ago and I remember it being a regular old airport.

Not going to start another thread, but my flight from DFW to PDX on Alaska Airlines was the GOAT flight. I'm in love with Alaska Airlines.

I was on Alaska as well. They really are a great airline.

My favorite so far is Incheon in S. Korea.

Get to visit Narita, Hong Kong, and Osaka this summer, looking forward to comparing those. I thought the TBIT at LAX was the best US terminal I have been through, but rest of LAX is awful.

Singapore is on my wish list.

I agree. It´s rather impersonal.

For the people who say ATL, why?

Is it the volume of frequencies that DL runs that allow you to get to your destination even in the event of a misconnect? I am genuinely interested because from a facilities (passenger facing) it is above average but not great.

I don't mind Atlanta because it's a very efficient airport. The thing is fricking huge and the busiest airport in the world, but they have it laid out very efficiently to where you're no more than a 15 minute journey from one gate to another.

Charlotte though, I've seen 10 posters list it here, and they've clearly lost their minds. Next to Houston, LAX, and Denver, it is the worst major airport in the United States. The place was clearly laid out by a retard who has never made a tight connection in his life. They spread that place out as much as humanly possible. If you have a tight connection, and you land in the B terminal and have to get to E, good fricking luck.

Yeah walking out into insane heat and humidity surrounded by 1000s of Indians is not what I would call the best airport.

Nicest: Charles de Gaulle(Paris)

Its easily the worst airport in a major western city.

Best: Changi then Dubai

I'm in agreement with you. I don't know what the minimum connection time is for CLT, but somehow I pulled one off a 34 min connection on a mileage run, got lucky everything was on time and C-C. If it was E-B with 34 min, there's no way.

Didn't read the entire thread,
JFK is a shithole,
CLT is clean and has a very lickable name,
ATL and DFW are efficient for the loads they put-through every day
SFO is alright,
the old LAX terminal is iconic, it's generally OK
MSP is efficient,
DTW is cleaner than I thought it would be,
IAH is good
DEN is good, it's so far out from town though
MEM is a bit tired
NRT is cool and well run
LHR same
GCM is the 9th Level of Hell on Saturdays
Most major Caribbean/Central American Airports are alright, don't expect ORD there

I am not well traveled. Dallas' airport is a lot better with the sky train going around it and DART going to it.

It is pretty good if you live here. The master plan has room for 10 terminals eventually.

ILM, it is a laid-back international airport with two (maybe 3) airlines with rocking chairs like Charlotte. It is only called an international airport because celebrities live on Hollywood East Coast. Travolta flies his plane in. The celebs can do customs on board their jets and not be bothered with riff raff.
