The Nan & Jan workers comp. commercial was pretty bad.

I think the "host" is Frank Lee. The whole concept is incredibly insulting.

Guy I went to high school with owns Southern Coatings, Wally Pontiff coached there during the time... I guess they could possibly be good friends....

and his concerns were if they would match the paint that was on the house. i'm wondering if the whole house is being painted why would it matter as long as what they are putting on all matches. if they would be there on time? just sounds like a bad commercial.

Poor Wally had to follow the formula of the commercial just like the solar panel guy they made an arse of. "LG (guffaws) gunna be around for a long time."

I dont understand why LG being around along time is funny. When he was interviewing contractors they where telling him what he wanted to hear. Thats why him and his wife eliminated them.

You remembered the company name and the commercial, I would say it's effective advertising.
Just heard the spot again, turns out I had the name wrong. So, nope, still a bad spot.

Why does 104.5 always have issues with commercials playing on top of each other or maybe leaving the bump music on for way too long? Obviously, the on-air "talent" can't hear the bump music because they will talk for quite a while with it still playing on top of them.

The problems with the commercial are manifest. The one that most stands out though is why would you have Wally Pontiff, Sr. say that he approves this message at the end of the spot? It isn't a political ad. Very strange. Local commercials are the worst.
I don't think op knows the meaning of Manifest
Perhaps you're thinking multifarious or perhaps multifaceted ?

They are obvious also known as manifest. gtfo

It seems like everyday, there is a problem with the show broadcasts. They end up getting disconnected and the show goes off the air for like a minute or two. Then, they send the show into a station break. My God...somebody needs to work the board a little more effectively.

What is obvious is your tenuous grasp of English syntax, evident in your reply.

I don't know which company the commercial is for, but Gordy tells me to call his good buddy so in so Velazquez.
Hmmm if he is such a good friend, then WHY PRONOUNCE HIS LAST NAME VUH-LASS-KWEZ???

I find it very strange that Wally Pontiff Sr is a spokesman on the commercial. I don't mean to sound like a dick but i sorta get the feeling that he's benefiting from the death of his son.
If Wally Pontiff Jr were still alive today, would his dad be thought of to be a spokesman for a radio spot?

They need to redo the entire WP game idea dos baseball as well. It's so blah. A random Wednesday night at Zephyr. Usually against a bad in state school. They can't even make a more updated video to show. The whole concept needs to be blown up and redone.
