The self entitled rights of cyclists defies all logic and reasoning of basic self preservation, cyclists always lose in an accident with a vehicle regardless of who is legally right or wrong...

Be careful out there baws!

Exactly, if people just obey rules and show common courtesy there are no problems.

I'm not sure if there is a group off individuals that break the law almosy continously, yet love to lecture others about how they should be following the laws.

They remind me of the upper-middle class motorcycle riders 5-10 years ago that were amateurs, but demanded everyone take extra special care to accommodate their high risk behavior

Traditional bicycle riders in the city knew to use all the nice side streets to get from one location to another.

Like I said, I bike, but I am with you here. The "same road, same rules" bumper stickers tick me off. Which is why I follow the rules.

My mentality

- don't fall

- don't get run over

- look around constantly

- be defensive but if unsure about a looming traffic decision or intersection just brake

I bike pretty often, I follow way less laws when biking than driving.

Wrong way down a one way. Check.
Not stopping at a stop sign. Check.
Not signaling. Check.
Riding on the sidewalk. Never actually, this really pisses me off.

I only bitch a riders that go down busy streets when there are safer options for them. And bikers who get within 3 feet of me at a stop light so they get to the front of the line.

"watch for motorcycles!!!"

I watch for all vehicles on the road, motorcycles just happens to be way harder to see and for some reason seem to encourage very risky behavior.

Absolutely disgusting. Making a man wait 15 seconds longer to get home and post on tigerdroppings.

15 seconds is a long time if you're hurrying home to take a shite
