Extremely. Each spot is numbered and not faded in the slightest. I took a picture but honestly I don't know how to post a picture from my phone on here.

Little hint the fact that its numbered should be a good indication that the spots are assigned. At least it should be to someone with a sliver of common sense.

I parked in some guys spot one day after I made groceries and his spot was right next to the door in the parking garage. It was I. A Sunday and most of the people in the garage only use it m-f so I didn't think much of it. Well I forgot to move my truck from the spot and Monday afternoon when I went to get In my truck I had an amazing note from the guy. Wish I remembered what it said but it was pretty damn clever.
I actually took the note and wrote something back to him and then explained the situation how it was the weekend and I was carrying groceries and left it on his truck the next day(guessing it was his since it was in the spot)
My truck wasn't too far from his so was hoping for some comical back and forth but he didn't participate.
What I'm trying to say is don't get your panties in a wad over something so trivial, guy may have had to drop an old person off and it was the closest spot and forgot to move the car after. People take life too serious. It's like the people that circle the rouses parking lot 8 times for 15 minutes to try and get 3 spots closer to the entrence.

Hate those people. And it's always the fat asses who could use the extra exercise carrying their twinkies and 24 packs of diet coke back to the car anyway.

I honestly don't think it's always fatties... I think it's just stupid people that don't realize that they could have parked at the furthest parking spot in the lot and have been in and had half of their groceries made instead of being a handful of spots closer.
Actually can almost understand a fatty doing it bc they don't want to sweat but the rail skinny 30 something that just probably left her house on wheels don't seem to realize how stupid it is.

Actually I would take it to be an indication there is a pay meter or was at one time.

I really don't feel like I'm getting bent out of shape over this...I've said multiple times that I'm not upset and didn't want to have them towed. And fwiw they were there last night and are still there today, so they definitely aren't "making" groceries.
I would like to just do something funny/clever like you described to let them know they are in the wrong and to not do it again, that's all.

You seem very passive aggressive. You keep saying you're not pissed, but them contradict yourself with little statments. "I'm not pissed" "they were there last night and still today, so they are definitely not making groceries."

I'm sorry but in what way am I being a child? I'm not angry or overreacting, I'm actually hoping to do something that may even make the person laugh but let them know not to keep up the habit.
