So Oak Grove Primary put my 6-year old on the wrong bus yesterday.

I was supposed to pick son up for 1st day. Show up and am told I don't have proper pickup tag. Have to go inside and print one out. Come back outside, son is not there with kids to be picked up. Am told "He must have gotten on bus."
I try not to lose my shite and go to aftercare place he is to be dropped off at. Wait 30 minutes. Bus pulls up. No son. I drive back to school. Kick office door open. shite lost.
They found him. They let him get on another bus without any sort of checking. Hes fine now, but how pissed should I still be? I was at a 9 yesterday, but am teetering between a 7 and 8 this morning. What sayeth the OT?

Well I'd make sure they know you are angry and expect this never to happen again. Maybe explain how they would update procedures.

They just let your six year old get on a bus?
WTF? A 9 is very warranted. A lot of bad could of happened, luckily it turned out to be just a huge inconvenience, it could of been a lot worse. You have every right to complain to the school board on this one.

Considering pedos are like Great White sharks during the sea lion breeding season at this time of year, I would be pretty pissed.
Also, considering the grief schools put parents through to pick up their own kids for safety reasons, I would be pretty upset.

That 45 minutes of having absolutely no clue where your kid is at is absolutely terrifying. So many fricked up thoughts run through your head. You have every right to be pissed.
