Best not be messing with Teddy. That scrappy SOB might come back from the grave and kick their arse.

Teddy was a real racist. Made Lincoln look mild.

What gets me is the founder of the KKK was by all accounts not as racist as Lincoln.

ETA: got my historical figures mixed up. Nathaniel Bedford Forrest was not as racist as Lincoln. He did not found the Klan though.

If they're not careful, they'll erase all history and we'll be doomed to repeat it. Which won't turn out good for them.

In fairness, I think that was first said by a white guy so it's probably bullshite.

Columbus Day to be renamed Indigenous People’s Day.

Maybe we can rename MLK day to "we kill each other every day and don't give a shite about it but want to blame everyone else for our self made, community problems so let's take everything down to deflect from our own problems" day. Too long maybe?

One of the biggest attributes/problems of mental health and addiction is deflection. Blaming others for your problems instead of taking responsibility for them and owning up to them so you can identify that problem and fix them. These people are sick. Ask any counselor and they'll tell you these people are sick.

We can take all the statues down, rename everything possible, yet these idiots will still kill each other and won't own up to their own problems which plague their community. Until they assume responsibility for their own actions, their communities will continue to suffer with low education and high crime rates.

I know, the truth hurts, especially to idiots.

Ancient history, right? It was so long ago, we should just move on, am I right?

Hint, that's a shiny hook.

ETA: Oh, look at all the cute downvotes from the melting snowflakes.

I just don't understand what's being accomplished with this...I don't understand what the end game is and no one can answer that question when it's asked.

At some point, i'd like to think that the normal people of this country (despite what the media would like us to think, I bet we are the majority) will step up and stop all of this extracurricular bullshite.. eventually enough will be enough, and if more people would grow tired of their relentless pursuit of 'equality', their little bitch fits will fall upon deaf ears

A guy can wish, right?

I mean frick, the MAYOR OF NOLA, was so fricking wrapped up in god damn statues, that he 'didn't know' the status of our fricking lifeline when it comes to rising water

While you are there, kneel during the National Anthem because it moves things forward a LOT.

Completely agree

I used to be, and for the most part, still am very apathetic about politics... but MSM is forcing me to pick a side. I fricking hate the direction our society is going in

First they came for the confederates and I did not speak out because I was not a confederate.

Then they came for the Teddy and I did not speak out because I was not a Teddy.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.
