CERN has been down for upgrades about three years or so. Firing back up for the eclipse.

No idea regarding laser activity. Just pointing out regardless of what us peasants believe, the good folks at cern appear to believe in occult and esoteric happenings. And eclipses are significant events to some.

They’re launching from the facility at which I work. I’m a DoD civ working for the Navy but we have facilities at Wallops. Should be a fun day.
