Many ancients believed that total solar eclipses were not caused by the moon, but something else. The black sun perhaps?

you seem to dismiss the reality that you can't fire a rocket INTO an eclipse.
an eclipse is just a shadow created by the moon going in front of the sun.
you can't fire something INTO nothing.
It would be the same thing as firing rockets at the moon.

I, for one, feel fortunate the enlightened among us are able to translate what is going on into a sensical, logical, and reasonable analysis.

I have to work that day and I'll be at a federal facility where most were forced to get the jab (I got the J&J one as there was no way I was going the mRNA rout). The worst part is I can't carry into the facility. Pray for me Monday.
