Downtown thibodaux is scary at night. You can get mugged or raped anywhere.

Thibodaux PD are the worst next to BRPD. They wrote me a ticket a while back for "impeding the flow of traffic" in downtown Thib because I stopped for less than a minute in front of Rox's picking up drunk friends.
ETA: Good luck fighting that one though. If you know people in Thib/Houma, getting out of it probably won't be a problem. Otherwise, I'd maybe consult a lawyer.
