were getting buttfarked in the mouth by rain. flooding really bad, and more rain a coming.

they are having to shut down a 5mile stretch of i-44, a heavily used highway.

traffic is a shite show with 2 major roads under water.

i-55 could be underwater if the rain continues dumping by the truckloads. 55 and 44 go down, it would be a huge cluster.

Moderate rain 44 degrees. High wind and high seas on the outer coast. Even saw a few snowflakes this morning and the first cruise ships of the season arrived.

Had a 6.3 earthquake this morning with hundreds of aftershocks. Not weather related, but nature...

Here in Louisville, MS the weather is beautiful...sunny and 72 degrees with a nice wind blowing. Yesterday, we had a washout just as you are describing, though.

it's been pouring for days.

2 levees in 2 places bout n hour west broke, flooding a bunch of farmland.

if we get the rain they expect wed/thursday, we could have i-70/i-44/i-55 all under water. literally crushing all major traffic through missouri.

people sand bagging like the dickens to help save shite. it wasnt the days of rain, it was the constant rain, non stop pouring.

we have a warning to consume water, afraid 2 main waterplants could end getting flooded.

It's been a beautiful April, but May 1 started off with a bang.

We had a really powerful storm roll through around 3PM with hail and 60mph gusts. Looked like it was clearing up until about 10 minutes ago. Now we are having a bad thunderstorm with unusually high winds.

In Minnesota it's 39 degrees with a windchill of 30. Snow flurries this morning which turned to rain. Ridiculous for this time of year. The average high for May 1 is 65 degrees.

Centered north of Haines, AK. No real damage, stuff knocked off shelves in a few places. Northwest BC and southwest Yukon felt it pretty good too.

Only cities close to it are Juneau and Whitehorse in the Yukon. Haines and Skagway AK are smaller towns.
