So, I moved to Virginia a few months ago from NOLA and we just had our first snow the night before last and yesterday. I'm talking 8-10" of powder everywhere. It's beautiful!

But today, I still cannot go anywhere as 35mph winds are creating snow drift and my road (private) is constantly being covered with snow, not allowing me to leave.

What the hell do I do?

I have plenty of food, water, and alcohol.

Or you in walking distance to any restaurants, coffee shops, tea houses, or bars?

So you're from NOLA and have food, alcohol, and water, and are asking what to do? Being snowed in is just like a hurricane - hunker down and make it a party.

I honestly love a nice snow storm coming through for a day or so - I drink a bunch, cook some good soups, and watch tv all day. Oh, and then I send out a couple emails for work so I can claim that I "worked from home".

Starting at noon you'll have maybe 7-8 hours worth of football to watch

Back in the day we used to have to walk 10 miles to school in the snow. Stop being a pussy son.

Sounds like you are out of weed. That could be a problem.

Uphill both ways, too?

I guess it will be football, alcohol, and entertain the wife.

We are both kinda freaking out as we don't know what to do about the snow.

There's nothing to freak out about and nothing to do...

When the snow stops, shovel your car out and sidewalk/driveway, and in the meantime hang out indoors and drink. It's really simple, actually.
