San Francisco to ohare. Sat in bulkhead seat on red eye next to a gay dude. I can't sleep on a plane, he could. Spent the whole four hour flight elbowing him off my shoulder. #misery

MH370, we took off on 8 March and we are still on patrol.
ATL to Tokyo-about 14 hours. Me, Scotch and Darvocet had a wonderful time. I was ready to face the lovely Nipponese Customs folks.

NOLA to Barcelona, via Newark and probably one other connection.
The way back was via Munich and an 8-hour layover in Chicago.

16 hours
Chicago to New Delhi
In Business class so I could lay flat and sleep whenever I wanted and decided I will never do a flight that long in coach

13.5 hour mission, so I didn't get to sleep. That also requires a 3 hour preflight and 2 hour debrief.
I have over 1500 hours as of yesterday

Conde Nast 10 longest flights
According to Conde Nast, this is the winner.
I've done #4 & 5...Houston-Doha & Houston-Dubai. Long flights on comfy planes with good service and food.

New Orleans to Manila, Philippines.
Back when I was a kid it was MSY>LAX>Honolulu(refuel)>Manila
Now it's New Orleans to a northwestern US airport to Seoul (or Tokyo) to Manila. Kayak shows total travel duration of 25 hours.
