Lake Charles if you're talking waterfowl hunting. It's close to Sabine River, big lake.

Lafayette is the best city though

Lake Charles Has a huge lake and a river, right by the gulf, Las Vegas style casinos, a really good local music scene, decent food, fine whores, plenty of jobs... what else do you need?

No but closer to there than the others.

I would pick LC but only because you can be fishing in the marsh in 20 minutes.

Another plus for LC is its right by Texas, you can make it to Beaumont in 45 mins and Houston in 2 Hours.

you make just as many threads as I in the same amount of time... who cares if most of mine are about something similar? I'm trying to figure out somewhere to move.. and this is a good place to talk to like minded folks. get over it.

i can't speak for its outdoors hunting/fishing, but i imagine it can't beat LC there

plus the "weirdo" qualifier eliminates Lafayette from this discussion, imho
