Productivity in office rises dramatically with the presence of easily accessible coffee. But some places don't offer it which is kinda mindblowing in 2016.

We have a coffee pot, used to have coffee but now we just take turns buying a bag.

My office job has coffee though.

Pitch in and it's still readily available.

Certainly not a mandate for companies to provide, although a nice perk.

Entitled? I've worked places where it was free and places where it's charged. But I've noticed productivity goes way up and people get a lot more done with free coffe. It's a company's investment in efficiency.

No, businesses can provide whatever they want to provide. Don't like it? Go work somewhere else. We have free coffee. But I have been to other offices where they have a barista that surves up free specialty coffees.

Stupid mellinials. You need to eat dirt and drink sewage like us that had to deal with the tough, booming economy of the 80s.

I do. That's why I don't drink it. Gives me bad shits, which decreases productivity.

Work shouldn't just provide free coffee they should provide free health insurance.

Working in an office type environment that does not provide a coffee pot should be a red flag of cheapness.

Well, I'll only be in training for another 3 weeks, but my boss' offices' coffee blows. Had awesome coffee at the last place I worked. After that, Starbucks every morning.

That's like having a cash bar at a wedding. It's a place where you don't want to be since clearly horrible people are running it.

How did you perform your study? What were your metrics? What was your baseline? How many people were in the sample set?
