Should the star spangle banner be performed one way?

In light of Jamie Foxxx's struggle last night, I wanted to pose this to the OT?
I personally like different renditions of our nation's Anthems as it shows the diversity and beauty of our country and the several ways to show it.

It shouldn't be performed at all, it's offensive/threatening to certain communities and makes them feel unwelcome.

An Old Negro Spiritual is just as American as Apple Pie or as the Declaration of Independence.
Having it sung like that is just representative of one portion of the American experience.

FWIW, the arrangement that was usually performed in the 19th century sounds quite a bit different than the one commonly performed today.
