On vehicles like a Mercedes Benz S class, Maybach, Rolls Royce, and Bentley hood ornaments are expected. On a Dodge, probably not. Maybe on a Buick, Cadillac, or Lincoln but it would have to be a really pimping model.

The 30's art deco hood ornaments were pretty awesome:

If you had nice hood ornaments, they would get stolen.

It would have to have a 360 degree flamethrower protection system to survive these days.

Obviously. I never said she wasn't. But there are certainly other scenarios where they can cause injury with proper seatbelt use.

I think Mercedes, Jaguar, and Cadillac have hood ornaments on some of their cars now.

They are really the only ones that can pull it off other than maybe Rolls.

I was in NW Arkansas (beautiful area fwiw) and saw a hhod ornament on a King Ranch that came from an old Ford V8, and saw a faux Bently one on a 300c. (with a very old white guy driving)(

I was thinking like ornaments not emblems. All cars have emblems.

Most don't have them on the hood anymore.
