The edit was a spelling error. Please stop. It is very inappropriate.

MJ2, his name sounds very familiar. What year did he graduate?

He graduated in 89 Broadmoor. Pretty sure. As you know I graduated Woodlawn. Went to school and lived in the same neighborhood with him till I moved

His family and friends have my thoughts and prayers. So sad and heartbreaking.

The people of Louisiana are behind them.

I DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE but I believe the 3rd officer's initials are MG. I don't know anyone associated with BRPD. I only got this information on Facebook through a friend's post. Another individual commented and I looked at her page and she had a name listed. She mentions that she was friends with 2 of the officers killed.

Coach Johnny and Coach Sonny ran a team sponsored by the police athletic league in the 70's and 80's called The Riveroaks Bengals that won a lot of city championships and was the center of a lot of our childhoods. Hope it wasn't one of their boys so much. Great men.

So sorry for the tragic loss of your friend as well as the other officers who gave their lives to protect all of us in Baton Rouge. They are truly heroes and have earned their place in Heaven.
